As a self-taught artist, I’ve always had to ‘get by from project to project’ as funds and resources were not readily
available. My first exhibition was at the Alliance Françoise in Mitchells Plain 2001, where I used ‘anything and
everything’ to create my mixed media art pieces. This moved into using discarded items in my work to benefit the artist and my community and hence the start of: The Kind Heart Art Project
