
Syncopation by Mischa Coetzee
Mischa is a self-taught artist who began painting from a very young age. Her passion was ignited in 2017 after being dormant for 9 years. She now runs Work of His Hands alongside her fulltime job in IT. Mischa is a butterfly artist. Having explored many different avenues in the arts, she now hosts art workshops and paints Live Wedding portraits, while still creating pieces from her heart and taking on commissions. Her graced technique is painting in acrylics with a pallete knife, adding emotion and depth to her work. "you will see her technique throughout her pieces on display for her very first exhibition right here at Rlabs House."

"Come on Home" is a breathtaking and captures the majestic beauty of Table Mountain, inspiring a sense of belonging and calling us to return to the comfort and solace of our roots.
"Portrait of Basil Coetzee" is a portrayal of the Cape Town saxophonist, capturing the essence of his iconic legacy through a powerful composition. The use of black and white with the majestic Table Mountain and shimmering gold dust in the background serves as a reminder of Coetzee's musical genius and the profound impact he had on the vibrant music culture of South Africa.
